Hello!  I'm Mrs. Stephanie Kelley, and I grew up in Walterboro, SC.  I moved to Beaufort in 2007.  I taught at Battery Creek High School beginning in 2007 and made the move to Beaufort High School 5 years ago.

Education: I graduated with a BA in Spanish, then completed a MS Degree in Education specializing in Curriculum and Instruction. In 2016, I won the Master Teacher of Honor Award from Kappa Delta Pi. I am currently working on my PhD in Education specializing in Curriculum and Instruction at Capella University.

Classes taught at Battery Creek High School: I have taught Spanish 1, 2, 3 Honors, 4 Honors, International Baccalaureate standard and higher level, International Baccalaureate Ab initio Spanish, Creative Writing, Mythology and Speech.

Classes taught at Beaufort High School: I have taught Spanish 1, Spanish 2, Spanish 3 and Spanish 3 Honors.

I serve on the Content Area Leadership Team, in which I help write the curriculum for the Spanish courses offered in the Beaufort County School District. I am a 6 year presenter at the Summer Institute, a continuing education program for teachers within our district.

Hobbies: I am the former junior varsity basketball coach at Beaufort High School, and adore BHS athletics.  I am the chair of the student activities committee, so homecoming, pep rallies, prom, and graduation are big in my book!  I enjoy reading, and learning new things, especially when it comes to integrating technology into my classroom.

Email and/or other contact info: Call me at the school between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Best method and times to contact me: Email.  I am usually tutoring before school at 7:30 AM and after school until 4:15 PM.

I am a Highly Qualified (HQ) certified teacher in Spanish.
