About Us

Students who seek to enter the workforce immediately after graduation are prepared through attendance at the Academy for Career Excellence, dual credit courses at the Technical College of the Lowcountry (TCL) and Career and Technology Education (CATE) offerings available at BHS.

College preparatory courses and Advanced Placement courses are offered to students who plan to attend college. Dual credit courses at TCL provide college-bound students with college credits earned during high school.

Students who attend Beaufort High School have opportunities to succeed at all academic levels.

Students who lack the number of credits for on-time graduation have credit recovery courses and accelerated courses available through computer-based instruction provided by Imagine Edgenuity.

Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) as well as scheduled visits from Armed Forces recruiters are available to students who seek to join the military.
